Partnership with accountability

Spiritual oversight is provided through an informal group of pastors connected with Acts 29; this is not an official Acts 29 coalition or endorsement. Advance Mission provides financial oversight. Once the church and SÓLIDA are legally established, the intention is for them to receive donations directly.

We propose quarterly ministry and financial updates for partners. Give online through Advance Mission. Select Guatemala in the fund menu to support this work. The final legal arrangements are still being developed.

Discuss a church visit

Let’s make the
next step clear.

We welcome honest questions about our convictions, the work, and how your partnership makes a difference.

Is Iglesia La Roca already an established church?

We are a church plant in the core-team and discipleship stage. Our team meets weekly, and an open Bible study is already gathering in San Pedro. We are working toward a constituted, elder-governed congregation.

What does SÓLIDA do?

SÓLIDA creates and translates Christ-centered teaching resources as an expression of the church’s ministry. Our first language focus is the Tz’utujil of Santiago Atitlán. ROCCA is the audio player being developed to help people listen to those resources.

How can I give, and who oversees the finances?

Advance Mission provides financial oversight. You can give through Advance Mission’s online portal. Select Guatemala, rather than General, in the fund menu. Contact the team for documentation relevant to your support. The proposed first-year budget is available above, including the distinction between recurring support and setup costs.

Can our church meet the team?

Yes. We welcome conversations with pastors, missions teams, and potential partners, including possible presentations during our U.S. church visits.

Can I explore an internship or a season of service?

We would love to talk about your interests, your home church, and your availability. Any opportunity would be worked out together around the needs and capacity of the planting team.

Where can I read your beliefs and the local context?

Our convictions page explains the vision, mission, ministry approach, and statement of faith. The Lake Atitlán page offers local context, research sources, and the pastoral concerns shaping this work.
